The Bread Man. He talked a long time about.......nothing. I had to catch my bus an hour after he got started, so I didn't get my free bread. Could have wrapped it up in 30 - 45 minutes. I'm sorry but his stories were not all that inspirational.

Pumpernickel Toast

Orange Juice

Almond Cookie Coffee

I also had the Sunday Democrat & Chronicle.

I fixed it all by myself.

I am going to try to read a book this week. And, actually, I should say listen to a book. It is a book on CD. I am going to go with Gary's suggestion that I also buy the book and follow along with it as best I can. I will let you know how it goes.

I Killed It!

Despite the heroic efforts and "never say die" stick-to-eousness (sp.) I could muster, the bonsai tree has died. You may recall that I gave the plant as a Christmas gift to my sister-in-law. About four months later, it showed signs of distress and I took over the foster care of it. But it never came back. A couple of weeks ago, I knew it was dead (but I waited of few weeks in case it showed any signs that it was alive). I think I will take a bonsai training class before I get the next one, and share the information that I receive.

I have over three dozen plants of various species in my house. I thought that I would photograph some of them. 1) Ponytail Palm 2) Burro's Tail 3) Rat's Tail Cactus 4) Pitcher Plant (note "pitchers" at bottom; it is carnivorous!) 5) A very, very sick Bonsai (my sister-in-law gave me the plant three months ago because it was doing so poorly. Big in the TLC department.)

Today I went to Powder Mill Park. I saw the Mushroom House, a trout hachery, and a blue heron. A pleasent day.

I went to Mendon Ponds park today. Quit a bit of difference since I came out six weeks ago.

I went out and saw some birds today. They are caged because they have to be. All of them are un-releasable because of injuries they have sustained.

I went to Tinker Park today. I took some pictures and walked around in the warm 85° weather.

I went to The Garden Store today. I picked out some flowers which I shall put outside once it gets warmer. I will show you them!

I put some weight on my foot today and walked on it. I went on a walk to house a couple of streets down from mine and took some pictures of it. When I got back, I iced it down. I think I went a little too far on it.
